I have been working with Trista for a little over four months. I’ve always been into fitness, but for years I have dove right in, and then fell off track more times than I can count. I know I am always the happiest when I am taking care of my body. Mentally and physically I feel amazing when I am keeping to a routine and treating my body right. I was always inspired by Trista’s messages and fitness/nutrition information she provided on social media. I knew I needed someone to help keep me accountable! So happy I reached out to her asking about her protein she uses because that one conversation led to so many amazing changes! I am far from where I want to be and have so many goals, but I notice such amazing changes with my body, but most importantly the mental changes that have happened. I feel so much more confident, and hopeful. I have so much more energy and just feel amazing! I honestly knew nothing about what my body needed for nutrition. What I thought was healthy, was far from what my body needed.

I started working with Trista 10 months ago. I had taken an active interest in my health for a long time, but felt like I had stagnated in the activities I enjoyed. Strength training was never anything I had tried, so I was interested in something new. I didn't know where to start and wanted help. I had interest in focusing on my diet to support my goals. I was interested in starting with Trista because I didn't know how to do exercises and wanted an expert to help. She takes the time to walk me through each exercise and makes sure I understand how each exercise works and why we are doing it. Trista has been wonderful to work with. She is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about her clients. I have seen results with her that I have never been able to achieve on my own, losing 8 pounds with proper nutrition and weight training.

I started Trista’s Summer Slimdown challenge last summer with my friend and her husband. They both killed the challenge. I did okay but seeing their results knew I could do better. I feel like I did well with the workouts but it’s always been food that I struggle with. I don't like to cook, I get frustrated if a recipe doesn't turn out, I have a huge sweet tooth, etc. I know the things I'm doing wrong, and it was nice having someone checking on my food closely that I couldn't really hide the fact that I ate a bowl of cereal for dessert every night or super sugary coffee every day. While I worked with Trista, I've learned little tricks to help me get my protein such as the liquid egg whites among other things. My biggest hurdle when I started working with Trista was that I thought I didn’t have time for a good workout. She looked at my daily schedule and made it work by breaking up my workouts throughout the day. Another concern is being worried about doing it all online. I worried I wouldn’t have the support or accountability, or I wouldn’t know how to do an exercise. She makes workout plans for whatever equipment we had at our house. At the gym, I would feel way too intimidated, so working out at home turned into a positive. .

I have been working with Trista for a year. I decided I wanted to work with Trista because I wanted to learn tools to take my workouts and nutrition to the next level. I’m an active person and was already working out a couple times a week but I wanted to level up. I had seen Trista’s consistency with her own fitness and I wanted to get calves like hers. 😉I struggle with staying focused and keeping track of my calories and macros. Trista showed me how to track what I’m eating to make sure I’m eating as much as I should, but her program also allows me to still enjoy the foods I crave by intentionally planning for them. I’ve also learned to prioritize myself and my health. She has shown me how to plan for busy days, and to be realistic about what I can achieve, while encouraging me to grow. Before covid I was working out in a gym only. I have a home gym now, but I was worried that I wouldn’t be as motivated working out at home, or that I would struggle without having someone to show me workouts. The videos and workouts in the app are so easy to follow, and I feel that they are challenging enough to help me reach my goals. I would highly recommend Trista to anyone because I know she will be supportive yet encouraging.

I love Trista’s positivity! Every time you talk to her, she just has a way of making you feel better about yourself, and optimistic that you can change the things you want, without compromising who you are and what you love. She is realistic and honest about the challenges that we all face anytime we want to change unhealthy habits, which I really appreciate. I have always struggled with eating healthy, and my weight was like a yo-yo. When she and I worked together during our Army training, I noticed her eating a healthy diet, while still enjoying the finer things in life. I wanted to have more balanced eating habits, and knew that she could help me get there. When Trista and I first started working together, I immediately became aware of how UNAWARE I was of what I was eating. I had just changed the way I was training, moving from weight lifting and HIIT to more endurance training, in preparation for long distance triathlons, and I hadn’t figured out how to adjust my diet yet. I put on 15 unhealthy pounds pretty quickly, and was looking to get back to a healthy weight. Having her help me with my macros made me more conscientious of the carbs, fat, and protein I was putting in my body.

I met Trista at my gym when I was 17 years old, so I’ve known her for about 10 years now! I originally started working with Trista because I wanted to lose weight and be skinny. But Trista helped me switch my focus to being strong and healthy, rather than just skinny! I can now lift weights that are heavier than I ever imagined! Working with Trista has made me feel strong, healthy, and confident in my body! I love working with Trista because she keeps me accountable. I think it’s a better use of my money to work with a coach, rather then trying to navigate the gym and nutrition on my own. Trista is not only an amazing coach, but she’s an even better friend. One of my friends was working with Trista on nutrition and fitness. She told me she had lost weight working with Trista and thought it was a great program. I knew Trista and had worked with her as a trainer at the gym for years.
With Trista, I changed how I was eating to balance my macronutrients – protein, carb and fat. I started at about 1,500 calories a day. To balance my macronutrients, it meant I needed to reduce carbohydrates and increase the protein. I was very motivated and found reducing carbohydrates was not that hard, but increasing protein was very difficult. Trista helped with ideas to get more protein into my diet.
Besides losing weight, I also saw other health benefits. My heartburn disappeared. My blood pressure dropped and my doctor reduced the dose of my hypertension medication. I lost 35 pounds over about 8 months and dropped from size 18 to a size 14. My hair, fingernails and skin were healthier with more protein in my diet.

My husband is in the Army and we got moved out to Utah in 2018. My husband worked with Trista’s husband and that’s how I was introduced to her. However, when I got pregnant last year I made every excuse in the book to not workout. I needed help and motivation to workout. I wanted to stay strong during my pregnancy but couldn’t figure out how to do it on my own. I had to stop running at 24 weeks pregnant and weight lifting was all that I could handle. Trista helped me stay on track during pregnancy and now postpartum as well. She gives me a great workout in about 30 minutes. She helped ease me back into lifting heavy again. She gave me confidence again. I highly recommend Trista. She is very knowledgeable in workouts for pregnant mommas and postpartum mommas. Now having a 9 month old, running my own chiropractic business and being a wife, extra time for myself is very limited. But taking 30-40 minutes to workout with Trista a couple days a week not only makes me feel like myself again but also gives me some much needed me time. Investing in myself is the best thing I can do for myself and for my family.

I worked with Trista for 4 months. I was looking to lose weight but needed the extra push and accountability. Trista was the perfect fit for me as she not only was very motivational, supportive but extremely knowledgeable in her field. She is very passionate about what she does. Over those 4 months I lost 10 pounds, became more conscious of what I was eating, motivated, and fell in love with working out. My biggest concern starting this journey was not having enough time. I would say you need to choose to prioritize being healthier and to work out if you would like to see the results. You can do it! If you make it part of your life things can change and it eventually becomes easier. I thought online coaching would be difficult, but it turns out to be easy to follow and if there are any questions or concerns Trista is easily accessible. Her programs are a great value and affordable! Trista is one of the most passionate coaches I have come across. If you are nervous about starting a program don’t be. She has the knowledge, experience, and patience and will be there with you all the way. You just need to give yourself a chance.

Trista has been my personal trainer since 2011. After watching my husband train with Trista for several years, I decided it was time I did something to improve my own life. I had a sedentary job and was putting on the extra pounds. In the beginning, I trained with Trista at a commercial gym but since she created her own gym space in her expanded garage, I have been training with her two times a week. The extra personal touch of private training with her encouragement and challenges are valued by both my husband and me. Several years ago, I was in a serious car accident, cracking seven ribs and breaking my sternum. I credit my speedy recovery to the strength training Trista had me doing, then working with me afterwards to further improve and strengthen my body. Trista has also done meal planning and macros tracking programs to help me lose and maintain weight. Since working with Trista I have lost a total of 16 pounds and kept it off. Trista is a delight to work with and is responsive to the needs of her clients. I am currently 72 and going strong and will train with Trista as long as she’ll have me.
